Ethos

Moss is driven by a design ethos, not a pre-determined house style.

Each project is led by a practice principal, with a consistent design team who remain with the project end to end.

We are client focused and work collaboratively to understand your operational ethos and key objective requirements.

We believe that high quality built solutions result from continuity of approach combining, good client relations with rigorous brief analysis and a creative approach to design and problems solving and aesthetic awareness.

Innovative design proposals are then resolved technically and developed to achieve maximum value in the broadest sense.

Our process is continuous, open, inclusive, and collaborative.

We open up our design ideas to wider discussion at the earliest practical stage to include client, contractor and wider supply chain team, ensuring our designs meet key objectives, remain appropriate and are deliverable.

Our creative design is delivered through to completion, underpinned by our embedded quality management process, controlling deliverables, of budget, programme and quality.

We aim to create appropriate, specifically detailed, exciting buildings and interiors that are a product of brief, context, function, talent and enthusiasm.

3D Presentations

Our creative process starts with our client. Through working collaboratively to define brief key objectives we embed these into our thinking and processes from the outset.

We develop creative proposals in 3D developing sketch models from outset of design to ensure our design proposals are easily understandable and can be rigorously reviewed and verified by our clients and wider design and supply chain team colleagues.

As the design process develops more detailed visuals and 3D models are developed along with selection of samples of construction and finishes materials to fully explain our design proposals in more evolving detail.

Our design models enable our communication of ideas and proposals widely and these are shared at the earliest practical stage with clients and supply chain to ensure our creative proposals remain practical and deliverable and can be verified by our clients through the design process at key project stages.

Technical Information

Our 3D models are then developed into BIM construction quality  information combining 3D object based models with 2D plans, elevations, sections, details, developed off the BIM model for purpose of tendering and construction information.
